f.b.creations started around 2006, back when Sundays were for Sex and the City. Life was good.

I was in my 40s era - skinny, in a minidress-and-heels uniform and on a first-name basis with half of the doormen in Miami Beach. My accessories told the whole story: a silver Razr, a navy blue Panerai Luminor, and statement necklaces I made for myself because nobody was making what I wanted.

Then friends started asking for their own. A dining table became a workshop. Nights and days off became studio time. My daughter took over the kids' line — charms, beads, chaos, genius.

Nobody warned me stones and ribbon would become therapy. But they did. The color. The weight of a semiprecious stone in your hand. The season it belongs to. The thing it says without saying anything. It was never just jewelry.

Two decades later, the pieces are still out there. We wear them. We're still happy. Still us.
