de la Renta + Galliano: masters and a truce with the fashion world

it was not like ant other collaboration, but more of a symphony in four hands. two geniuses  and a truce with the fashion world. John Galliano & Oscar de la Renta for prez and veep?

'Everyone in life deserves a second chance'. And, with that, Galliano set a under-the-radar foot back again in a less anticipated manner. Hours of community service and rehab might have changed the disposition of an otherwise exuberant personality, but it didn't take one beat out of John's knack for making magic. The three-week internship was a gracious offering, sort of fraternity act of kindness, no string attached. It allowed the Phoenix to resurface from the ashes

'Will he come back with a bang?' 'What is he doing silent in the corner of Oscar's studio?' 'Will he come out at the end of the runway?'

They were all the talks of the town and there was no need. The collection spoke Oscar with a Galliano accent. Graciously. You could feel palpably that he was in da house. 

I was one of the lucky ones to see it, touch it and experience it its trunk show in Bal Harbour. Yes, the same one that went down the runway. 

the first look is always the first look. Now: cloche, gloves and cinched belt scream Galliano, and #wesuperloveit
